Hi!

Install and configure the spamblock plugin, it comes wiht Serendipity.

You can view more comments on one screen, use the button "Invert selection" (or something like that) and it will check all comments on a page for you to delete afterwards.

Regards,
Garvin

You can also get yourself an akismet key from wordpress.com, add that key to the spam protector plugin in the box provided.

Spam protector/spam block - same thing.

You can use phpMyAdmin to delete your comments.... you can also increase the number of comments shown per page to 20, 50 or "all". ... then, check the box next to the IP address of the first comment shown... then scroll to the page bottom and select "invert selections"... then scroll back up to the first one again and re-check it... at this point, ALL should be checked... then scroll back down to the bottom and click "delete selected comments".

You can also activate the 'nofollow' attribute to your blog. Many times just doing this will eliminate lots of spam because they will not get the full link value.

Hope this helps...
