Adding total\daily hits to statistics plugin

I have searched the forum and couldn't find an answer. Is there a way to display the total hits and daily hits that show up in the admin panel, in the sidebar statistics plugin for display?

There is also a "statistics" sidebar plugin that should do this, yes!
