What is wrong with my blog -> content gone

Hello,

Does anyone of you know what is wrong with my blog?

I have used it for the last 3 years I think, without any problems, but yesterday, all the content from my entries disapeared

It is still there, if I go to the admin pages, and edit the entries, but I can't see them from the frontpage

Hi!

Did you install a new plugin? Change anything in the PHP or MySQL version? Upgrade any software?

A problem like this should only happen when you instal lmaybe a new markup plugin...check if you have the plugin "Extended properties for entreis" installed, and if so, check its configuration to see if you have caching enabled. If you do, hit the "Cache all articles" link in the backend to recreate the cache, maybe this failed somehow.

Wow, weird. The entries and comments are displayed, but have no content text. Not just hidden with CSS; actually missing.

I agree with Garvin: probably a new markup plugin. Could be a weird anti-spam thing on your server, since the table columns that are missing all have the word "body" in them, but that's pretty far-fetched.

In any case, no reason Serendipity should suddenly start doing this after 3 years. Something in the blog or the server must have changed.

Any messages in your logs?

I just checked my inbox, and I found that my webhotel changed from PHP4 to PHP5 some days ago.
Can that be the reason?

Problem solved.

When I disabled the Markup: Markdown event plugin, it started working again. I don't know why.
