Links to Articles lead to a login page

Hi everyone,

I'm a little stumped here. Whenever someone tries to look at one of my articles (like http://foo.com/blog/index.php?/archives ... eHere.html), they're looking at a page which just sais "Login".

This is not the Admin login ("login" and "password"), it's just one textbox ("login"). I'm able to bypass that with my admin password, but my users can't.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

Michael

Hi!

Of course your real URL would help us. :-)

Fair enough :)
I thought this might be a common problem and a short description would suffice. The URL is http://zufallsbit.de/blog
Just click on any article headline and youll be asked for a password.

Hi!

This login box comes from the event plugin "Extended properties for entries" which can password-protect entries.

When you create an entry you have the password box inside the section "Extended options". If you do not want to protect those entries, you need to edit your entries and remove any text inside that password box and re-save the entry/entries.

Older entries of yours do not have that problem, so it seems you only started recently to enter a password for yoru entries :)

Garvin

Damn, I must have missed that when I tried to figure it out myself. Thanks a lot for your quick response, keep up the good work.
