upgrade question 1.3

hello.

I wante to update from the previous version of Serendipity before 1.3 and i wonder Firstly,

1: how do i upgrade?

2: how i can do it so no changes ive made to plugins or templates etc get overwriten when i upgrade ?

Hi!

That's easily possible, you can read the Ugrade notes in our documentation on www.s9y.org (FAQ or User Documentation).

As long as you only create your own templates and create your own plugins as seperate ones, no changes need to be protected.

There is never the need to edit files frmo the s9y release, so as long as you stick to that you can save yourself a lot of time to manually re-apply changes.
