Browsers and Configurations

Post by chadi »

I am new to Serendipity and I am wondering but browsers with what options seem to work the best. I ahve tried IE7 and Avant and the Admin page gives me different things I don't like. I assume javascript issues. Just some advice on what works well in regards to the Admin Screen.

Somethings I have noticed, the arrow images for moving plugins around are not visable or some plugins won't show up at all etc...

Thanks for the knowlege.

Hi!

The s9y admin interface should work fine with IE6, IE7, Firefox, Safari and Opera.

If you can name specific things that don't work for you, we might be more of help. :-D

Since Serendipity 1.1, there are no more arrows for moving plugins, because they are moved with drag and drop. :-)

Drag and Drop Gotcha, I did see some arrows with the new version, is it possible in some browser configurations or with some plugins that arrows could be visible? I know this sounds crazy but I have the latest version and I saw (and used) arrows just yesterday.

Drag and Drop is great just wanted to share, if I note any other Admin page issues I will post here.

Thanks

Hi!

Those arrows are part of the category management screen, and the staticpage plugin? :)

Best regards,
Garvin

No, placement of the plugins but hey, I don't know how I got there but the Drag and Drop works great.

Thanks
