Dealing with Spams

Hi everyone. My blog got found by a spambot and now I'm getting email to check trackbacks. e.g:

The *'s are just blocking the spam. I have installed Spam Protector (SURBL) but no joy. I would like to avoid using a CAPTCHA if I can. Should I upgrade to the latest beta and try Spam Protector (RBL)? Is there another option?A new trackback has been made to your blog-entry entitled "Photos!!!!!".
Requires review: Yes (Auto-moderation after X days)
