two sidebar questions

1. I was wondering how I would go about adding html to the sidebars? Such as google adsense ads.

2. I was wondering if there was a plugin that I could put in my sidebar that would display my last 10 post's headers, similar to what an rss feed would look like.

i.e.
Recents Posts:
header 1
header 2
header 3...

You can use the HTML sidebar nugget plugin.

There's a plugin "recent entries" shipped with s9y that should do the trick.
