Quick Search Bug?

I ran a search on my site on my blog, which said 8 entries were found. I have my site set to display 5 entries per page. When I click to page 2, however, I get this message:
Your search-query must be longer than 3 characters. You can try to append * to shorter words, like: s9y* to trick the search into using shorter words.
I thought maybe it was an issue with me being on an older version of Serendipity, so I upgraded to 1.1.2, but it is still happening.

The blog is at: http://eclectic-world.com/myaddictions/animania/ and the search term was "Passion"

thanks

yes, you're right - there is a problem

when searching "passion" - no problem
when searching "Passion" - problem (capital letter)

btw - i tried on my site some phrases with and without capital letters - no problem here. i'm using serendipity 1.2alpha4

I didn't even think to try it without the capital...I wonder why it would bork with one but not the other. Doh...

Hi!

Sadly this is a problem with permalinks. Because of the capital "P" it interpratts "assion" as the page number.

Usually it would expect "P2" for Page 2.

The serendipity nightlies (1.2) versions should have this fixed, I think. It really only happened when using searchwords with a capital "P", so you were unlucky *g*

Regards,
Garvin

Ahhh! LOL, figures I'd find the one word where using capitals is a bad idea :P
