OK, that's really strange. Your sandbox works with the same browser I used for the tests in my develop system. So I suppose that the problem is something different. Maybe it's a problem of different webserver configurations.

It's possible that the immediate solution is "don't use slash in tag names". It's what the plugin uses for multiple tags.

The long-term solution would involve query URLs, instead of permalink style URLs. There's only so much we can cram into URL without colliding with tag names.
