How to include php?

Post by sun112 »

Hi!

I'd like to add this line of code at either the bottom of the page or at the right sidebar:

<?php @include 'http://www.domain.com/gallery/block-random.php';?>

How can this be done?

It will show a random pic from menalto gallery script.

Greetings,

Hi,

There is already a sidebar plugin that will display a random image from Gallery. Did you have a problem with that one?

It's called Gallery Random Photoblock and is available through Spartacus...

SPARTACUS is:
[S]erendipity [P]lugin [A]ccess [R]epository [T]ool [A]nd [C]ustomization/nification [S]ystem - Allows you to download plugins from our online repository

Gives you more options for plugins to install when you are in 'Configure Plugins'.

If you don't want to use one of the existing image galleries, you may need to develop a sidebar plugin for your script. Take a look here to get started:

The plugin I mentioned is indeed written specifically for the Menalto Gallery script, which is what you said you are using...
