Serendipity v.0.6.5-CVS

Im still evaluationg Serendipity for my use... and will most likely use it...

I tried the Serendipity 0.6-pl2 and found it to meet my general needs I read the news blurb on the CVS changes and thought that might fit may needs even more.... so with that in mind I removed all instances of Serendipity 0.6-pl2 (dropped all tables) and tried the CVS pull from the last two nights....

Im running on a server with MySQL 4.0.18-standard and PHP 4.3.3

On the admin set up the Database host is set to "locahost " notice the space... it caused an error when trying to connect to the database...

Also the index.php displays the blog name and descripton then where the entires should appear "Query failed: Unknown column 'c.parentid' in 'field list'" the same error show up when under the "Edit entries" in the Authoring Suite.

Thanks a lot for the reminder about the extra blank space - I failed to notice that because I usually use a specific different hostname. Will be fixed in CVS...

Regarding the missing parentid: We just recently implemented subcategories/post to multi categories and the db.sql scheme was not yet updated properly. This has however been fixed recently in CVS.
