Current plugins and descriptions

Hi,

I'm still on 0.7.1 and willing to upgrade to 0.8.
But it seems that it is not that easy. First of all the new template system coming with Smarty is fine, but I miss information like what of s9y (variables, etc.) can be used in the templates.
And, another point of criticism, is the lack of descriptions of most of the plugins. Of course, some of them are for sure self describing, but for some I wish I'd have a description and possibly a help for usage, too.

Did you check our Style documentation and the special smarty part in our docs section? IMHO it contains all we have.

Tell me which plugins are lacking detailed description and I'll add it. Of course your help in this is appreciated, so if you can create a unified diff or suggest exact better descriptions, it will help a lot. And you help improving Serendipity. The Beauty of Open Source: Contribute!
