ImageFlow for S9y?

Post by Olaf »

Hi,
i have seen on a blog a nice javascript for photohandling, it calls ImageFlow http://194.95.111.244/~countzero/myCMS/ ... troduction.
ImageFlow is a picture gallery, which allows an intuitive image handling. The basic idea is to digitally animate the thumbing through a physical image stack. That intuitive handling is automatically caused by the metaphorical use of the well known process of thumbing through.
Is it possible to integrated this via spartacus in s9y where it shows the images of the media-db? Like an HTML Nugget in the body of the content may be. Who write this for us? :)

I like this a lot! But how should it be handled in S9Y? Only a special Tag can make it, perhaps a comment or something.

<!-- imageflow directory="uploads/somepix" -->

or

[imageflow directory="uploads/somepix"]

But this is not easy to handle for normal users. Any better idea how to integrate this into the entry editor?

Hi!

Maybe with a button in the toolbar of an entry, like when you insert Smart Quotes or others? A javascript input box/popup could ask for the directory that should be inserted, and then the serendipity 'wrapSelection' JS could put that Code into an entry...?

Hmm.. Well right.. Like the "Link to entry" button of the (I guess) wikifying plugin.
Okay. If I have time, I'll build this plugin, as I like to have that on my own, too. :-)
