I copied the extracted files of serendipity-1.0.4.tar.gz to /srv/www/htdocs/serendipity and when I try to start the install/configuration at http://localhost/serendipity/ I get the message: Don't hack!
The mysql-database is not setup till now, but I can't imagine that it is checked for an existing database at this time.
What did I wrong?
Suse 10.0 / serendipity-1.0.4.tar.gz: Don't hack!
Hi!
From what I just read in the German section, there seems to have been a bug in the installation routine of the 1.0.4 and 1.1-beta6 packages, which Garvin fixed in a second release (1.0.4a and 1.1-beta6a). The new releases can be obtained from the Download page.
Hope this helps!
