S9Y_Conf configuration and management assistant for S9Y

Post by clander »

Hi,

S9Y_Conf is a little project I have worked on for about 9 months, and has graduated through being a Bash script to a Perl script, and now over the last 7 weeks into a PHP application.

This version requires PHP and MySQL, and has been developed on a SuSE 10.0 system running Apache 2.0.54, PHP 5.0.4, and MySql 4.1.13-Max. I have also tested it succesfully on another SuSE 10.0 box with PHP 4.4.0.

S9Y_Conf uses templates and a small dataset for individual blogs to create configuration files and scripts, that can make it easier to configure for example the Apache webserver.

The source has been uploaded to the Serendipity CVS tree at sourceforge, and can be found at http://php-blog.cvs.sourceforge.net/php ... /s9y_conf/.

Enjoy!
