Actually, I have the cumstom_permalinks installed, but when I first installed that all captcha worked fine. Broken images appeared last night when I newly installed those I mentioned above.
I have edited the lang/UTF-8/serendipity_lang_tn.inc.php, but again I edited it before last night. So it may not be the problem, right? Besides, I have not edit any lang file of plugins.
Yes, I found the serendipity_event_xhtmlcleanup directory in my plugins directory. Does it mean that I have installed it? I can't find any about "xhtmlcleanup" when I use web-admin to configure plugins...
So what can I do next? Do I have to give you some lang file to check?

Which serendipity version you are using? Maybe an older one than 1.0.3? Then it might be that some other language file hat the bug. In that case it would be good if you could upload all the "lang_tw.inc.php" and "lang_en.inc.php" files from the 1.0.3 release to your server...

Finally!:P I replace all lang file with new 1.03 versions and it works! Something little different is that when I log in as admin to add new comment, entering captcha code is required now.
Anyway, I am so exciting to get all things done. And this success is all attributed to your help! Thank you! s9y is so great!
