Random category is assigned additionally to the chosen one

Post by SoWhy »

Hi there,

following thing happens to me almost on every new entry I post: I choose a category and s9y adds another one to this entry which I didn't want it to. Upon editing this entry again and choosing the category again, it works.
Anyone an idea, why this happens?

Hi!

Which serendipity version is this, which Event plugins and versions are you using, and which browser? Looks like Opera to me, which might mess things up. Did you try in FF and IE? Do you have JavaScript enabled? Did you modify any Serendipity files apart frmo the template files?

It's not reproducible for me, so I actually think it's a browser or plugin issue.

Best regards,
Garvin

It's S9Y 1.0b2, browser is Firefox 1.5. No changes to the files except templates. JS is enabled. Following event plugins are installed:

Markup: Serendipity - version: 1.1
Markup: NL2BR - version: 1.3
Browser Compatibility - version: 1.0
Spam Protector - version: 1.33
Spartacus - version: 2.5
Statistics - version: 1.4
Static Pages - version: 3.32
Trackback-Control - version: 1.6
Announce entries - version: 1.02
Template chooser - version: 1.3

/edit: Reproducable for me on different browers (tried SeaMonkey, Opera and IE)

That's interesting.

Could you create me a simple author account on your blog so that I could test and debug it with LiveHTTP headers?

Best regards,
Garvin
