I was checking this weblog of a developer: http://www.jannis.to/daily/ and I realized that is XHTML Valid, I want to do my weblog but I need XHTML Valid and the default template does not is xhtml valid so I'm not sure if doing my xhtml template it would be valid or I need to hack the weblog for be able to do valid code but I just have basic php knowledge.
My question is, just doing the template will do or what I need to do?
Thanks

Re: XHTML
First thing is to activate XHTML1.1 support in your Serendipity Configuration. Basically this should already validate most of the XHTML code.
And then, yes - you could create your own template's layout.php file and adjust things which may not be XHTML compliant. But the current default layout.php with XHTML 1.1 compatibility turned off, should be XHTML compliant.
If you can tell me your Blog URL, I can have a look at what doesn'T validate, and tell you if it's Serendipity's fault or a "bad entry".
Regards,
Garvin.
