Overview of the newest plugins

Post by dma147 »

Okay guys...

because the Thread "Ideas for a new serendipity plugins!" is growing so fast and very complex now, I'll post here the newest plugins which were requested and then created by me.
- Downloadmanager [serendipity_event_downloadmanager]
A complete downloadmanager plugin with support for as many categories and subcategories as you want
- Javascript backend [serendipity_event_backend]
This is a backend-plugin which displays entries via Javascript on external websites. Please see the README file in this plugin to learn, how to use it!
- gallery2 plugin [serendipity_event_galleryimage]
This is the good old gallerimage plugin but enhanced to also support gallery2 images.
- Backup plugin [serendipity_event_backup]
This is an very advanced backup plugin which provides the automatic backupping of database-tables, the whole database and the files of your blog! PEAR have to provide "Archive/Tar.php"!
- discussion forum plugin [serendipity_event_forum]
This is a very generic discussion forum for your s9y!
It provides all generic functions which are needed. More features will be added soon.
All these plugins can be found on my own blog in the downloads:
http://blog.linux-stats.org/
Simply click on the "Downloads" link in the head of the page.
... or most of them can also be found through spartacus.

I'll expand this list if there are more new plugins...

Just released version 0.2 of the backup-plugin for serendipity which now also runs with serendipity-0.9-alpha5 and hopefully with the coming soon release 0.9, too.
It also doesn't need Archive_Tar from PEAR anymore because this library is bundled now with this plugin. So there is also no chance anymore for that annoying bug which lets created backups grow until the harddisc is full.
