Switch from English to German dates

Post by Thomas »

Hi,

how to switch the dates from English to German? On my local installation they are German by default. How to change it on the server?

Your server needs to support german locales, please ask your server admin which locales are installed. One of de, german, de_DE, de_DE@UTF-8, de_DE@ISO-8859-1 is required.

Maybe you should add de_DE@ISO-8859-15, that is de_DE@ISO-8859-1 with the Euro sign.

We have a de_DE@euro locale, shouldn't that be the same?

As far as I know it is the same, but for example "iconv -l" does not know anything with "euro".
