spartacus problem

Post by basiel »

[off topic] Hope I'm putting this in the right forum... [/off topic]

I installed the SPARTACUS plugin, so I see two new options when configuring plugins : "Click here to fetch a new sidebar plugin from the Serendipity Online Repository" and "Click here to fetch a new event plugin from the Serendipity Online Repository"

The sidebar thing shows what it's supposed to show : a list of extra plugins...

The event thing shows only this :
"Trying to open URL package_event.xml...
Fetched 80830 bytes from already existing file on your server. Saving file as templates_c/package_event.xml..."
How come and what to do about it?

Thanks, B.

Hi basiel!

When you view the HTML output of your page, can you see if it abruptly stops? It seems as if some parsing does not work properly and thus fails...

Please also look at your templates_c/package_event.xml and see if that file abrupty stops? You can also try to view it via your browser to reveal XML parsing errors...?

Garvin

Could this be a PEAR issue - I remember getting somthing similar and having to get the ISP to fix the virtual server installation

I've checked, and this file package_event.xml seems complete. And - very weird - sometimes it shows what I quoted before, sometimes it shows some plugins and then stops, or sometimes it shows the complete list of plugins...

I think it's some timeout problem, I will have to check my Apache server.

Thanks for your advice, B.
