Again about designing theme / template

Till this moment I am using Greymatter but want to change to Serendipity because of the extra's. I read several files and posts, but - it is me I know - not understand how to change the look of the blog, so it is my design.

The CSS files are ready and I just want to include the theme somewhere, so it will be my default.

Is there a clear tut where I can read all about designing for Serendipity?

I don't know of a tutorial, but http://www.s9y.org/index.php?node=44 should help.

Basically you have to copy templates/default/ to your own templates/mytemplate/ directory and modify the files there. Every file you do not need you can delete again, it will be fetched from the default/ folder then.
