Server migration question

I need to migrate my serendipity install to a new hosting company as the old one is going out of business. Can someone provide me with any best practices (or link to instructions) for migrating to a new hosting server.

Hi, for the log: https://docs.s9y.org/docs/faq/index.htm ... er-or-path describes it, but is msising the step you had to do in viewtopic.php?t=26710, to change the serendipityPath in serendipity_config of your database.
