If you edited text in files that existed before, then yes - your changes will be overwritten when you update plugins or serendipity. But if the files are new, then they will persist if none of us adds the same file.

Are the changes good for all russian blogs? You could send them as a PR to https://github.com/s9y/Serendipity for the core and https://github.com/s9y/additional_plugins for the plugins that are not part of the core. We would merge them and that way they would persist.

My changes relate only to changing part of the blocks (how to remove comments on those sites where they are not needed globally), this is editing templates and - translations, for example, in the screenshot.
