Serendipity 2.1.3 released

Post by yellowled »

We are happy to announce the availability of the next bugfix release Serendipity 2.1.3, addressing several security issues that have been reported to us by Hanno Boeck, oreamnos and Julio Cesar. Many thanks for this!

Please see the release announcement here: https://blog.s9y.org/archives/278-Seren ... eased.html

You can download the release file and unzip it to your installation as usual, or you may use the auto-updater.

Thanks a lot. But what did I do wrong: Coming from 2.1.2 using the offered updater I got a 2.1.4-beta1 which throws exceptions with PHP7.1. I quickly went back to PHP5.6 and everything is fine, but I want back.

Greets.

That 2.1.4-beta1 is actually 2.1.3, but the release is mislabelled by accident. (Ours, not yours.)

As for PHP 7.1, I'm running the same version on PHP 7.1.20 without any exceptions. Can you be more specific, i.e. provide error messages/log file excerpts? (Preferably in a new thread in a different forum.)
