Hi!
It seems, I am hanging in an endless loop with the installation of 2.0beta1
Once I call the URL s9y tells me to update and shows the fresh backend afterwards. The first upgrade "seemed" to work properly.
Cheers
Dirk

Re: 2.0beta1: Endless Loop
Unfortunately, the original 2.0-beta1 packages seem to have had an error. Please try downloading them again via s9y.org, they have been fixed.Lux wrote:It seems, I am hanging in an endless loop with the installation of 2.0beta1

I downloaded them this morning (09:58 CEST) from Sourceforge. Are those the wrong files?yellowled wrote:Unfortunately, the original 2.0-beta1 packages seem to have had an error. Re: 2.0beta1: Endless Loop
Hi!
Could it be that your serendipity_config_local.inc.php is not writable? So s9y cannot write to the file that it's new version string is 2.0-beta1...
Regards,
Garvin

Re: 2.0beta1: Endless Loop
Sure, it was, the files are belonging to the webserver user.garvinhicking wrote:Could it be that your serendipity_config_local.inc.php is not writable? So s9y cannot write to the file that it's new version string is 2.0-beta1...
I now took the development snapshot from GitHub.

Re: 2.0beta1: Endless Loop
Hm. Maybe an issue because I re-uploaded a -beta1 version.
Now created a -beta2 so that there's a new filename...

Good plan, maybe it happened to be a synchronisation issue between Sourceforge and its mirrors.garvinhicking wrote:Hm. Maybe an issue because I re-uploaded a -beta1 version.
