Greetings!
I'm trying to strip out unneeded stuff from my installation and writing a chef recipe to install s9y... in the interest of keeping things lean and mean -- what templates are needed to install s9y? what templates are needed for admin, etc?
THanks!
What templates are necessary for installation/admin?

Re: What templates are necessary for installation/admin?
There is a "lite" installation package for serendipity that only contains the default template (and possibly bulletproof)... I THINK (not completely sure) those should be all that is necessary.

Re: What templates are necessary for installation/admin?
You could delete /htmlarea, knowing you'll never use the WYSIWYG editor.
You can delete /deployment, knowing you'll never use Serendipity as a shared installation.
You can delete every folder from /templates, which is not yourTemplate, bulletproof and default.
There is some more, but this should do it.
All files shipped with a release are verified by checksums and can be verified live in the admin panel, so, if not changed, you can always be sure nobody touched them. Surely there is no really need to minimize serendipity more then already done in LITE.
