I upgraded my Magazine/News style template Kinetic today. There are some minor feature improvements, bugfixes and enhancements, but the really cool new feature is a featured content gallery slider that a few people had requested.
More info on my blog, and you can see it all in action on the Kinetic Demo.

Kinetic 1.2 released

Re: Kinetic 1.2 released
I have already updated Kinetic to 1.2. Now I need to change the size of my pictures in the media library yet from 480x360 to 608x456 px, that the slide show can work.
One such picture is now on the startpage and waits for collegues.
There where yet some strange shifts of the frame around the pictures with the grey background for the comments. But Don has found the reasons for that (not a fault in Kinetic but of S9Y) and has in our chat session immediately fixed the problem.
So there will come a further update from Don soon.
By the way:
When I switched from former template jazzcafe to Kinetic 1.1, I had not more 45 or so faults in the W3C-test, but only 4 or 9. The rest is because of the editor Xinha.

Re: Kinetic 1.2 released
Thanks Don, for the best Template Set for S9y so far
Is it enough to just copy over the new files? I haven't seen a readme or something else and want to make sure i don't need a backup
Really awesome work!

Thank you for the compliments! Yes, just overwrite your existing files with the new ones.

Be sure to upgrade your Blue Dog colorset as well, which you should have received in a separate email.
