Problems using supersized.org

Hi,

I run a blog at derda.supersized.org. Recently, I experienced some problems when uploading new images (not enough memory). To free up memory, I deleted some of the images already online. As this did not help I thought there might be some kind of cache, so I told the s9y to recreate the thumbnails. There were memory error messages again, and now there are no more thumbnails and I cannot recreate them.

I am not really sure what it is I did wrong - perhaps someone can help? For me, it would be easier to communicate im German - I am currently at a friend's and he is translating ...

One other problem I face with supersized.org is that I have not been able to force the weekdays etc. on the frontend to display in German. How can I do so?

Thanks in avance
Sven

Hi!

What exactly do the memory messages say?

It might also be a problem of too many event plugins, if you have installed too many, they take up too much space. Also, how large are the files you upload? JPEGs with 300kb file size can easily take up 4MB of RAM, because they are compressed...

Garvin

sry for my late reply, i was busy.

@ jannis: yes, the calendar works, thank you very much!!!

@ garvin: it seems to look like the error (Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 12288 bytes) in /usr/local/lib/php/s9y-supersized/include/functions_images.inc.php on line 1232) comes only when i'm uploadig big pictures...
small ones (about 300kb) are no problem...
