Rattler!

Post by Ianardo »

I just thought you may be interested in seeing what i'm working on today...
Rattler

It's based on Costa's Nature Theme.
Why am I doing it?
Well, basically because i've never seen a theme that looks like this before and thought I'd challenge myself.

Still LOADS to do though.

I may well change it so it's based on Kubrick instead though as I'd like the Blog name to appear in the coils and it'd be easier to do in Kubrick.

Its got loads of potential but at this stage its probably too early to critique it. I do like the rattler though. Is this for a project of yours or a theme for other users?

As for changing to Kubrick, well any tableless (div based) theme would suit your needs, the problem you've got at the mo is because of the tables. You could for example use andreas08, leaf, blix, dusk etc, whichever seems to be more understandable to you. Keep at it, I'd be keen to see the finished result.

It's not for any specific project - just for fun and to see if I can.

Rattler has to go on hold for a week or so now though as I have to do some real work!

Thanks for the suggestions.
I only used Nature (a mistake, I agree) as I've just used it for two complementary sites:

Great looking theme Ian - and quite unique.

I love what you've done to Andreas 06 for your own site too. :-)

I really like those balloon view themes, especially the second one 'seren_tester2', gee I wish I had a tenth of your talent.
