Hi!

The webserver for s9y.org and board.s9y.org (NOT blog.s9y.org) has been updated to Debian Squeeze (from Debian Lenny) today. Also we migrated from lighttpd to apache to see if that fixes sporadic downtime of this service.

Please check if you face any trouble in the next few days, and report them here.

Thanks!

I'm glad i cannot report a problem till yet, rather can i report ultimate satisfaction with the board in the last days! It responds and delivers content very quickly. Great!

Has s9y.org always been blank ?
Or did someone just not add the stuff yet ?

Depends on whether you call it with or without the www. prefix. Calling it without www. in fact delivers Apache's default page now. Needs a 301 redirect in .htaccess to fix that.

Ah, so you had it that way before. That's all I meant.

edit: Quote seems broken for me ?
test with name
I'll post it in the phpbb thread :)

Do we still need this sticky? I think the server is stable now (and if not, the upgrade shouldn't be responsible).

Feel free to delete this post if you think we do.
