Is it allowed to edit an existing Theme? (@ Lordcoffee)

Post by bailey87 »

Hi,

I have downloaded the Theme "GreenMile". I want to edit it. Is that allowed?

I want to note it with something like this "basisdesign by Lordcoffe, edited by me"

Regards,

As I understand it, that's the whole point of a Creative Commons license.
You can edit or change anything as long as the original creator is credited.

I can't speak for lordcoffee except to say he's a really nice guy, and would probably be quite delighted to see someone use his theme as the base for a new template - and d_cee has already customised it as well so I'd go ahead, then let him know when you're done so he has the option of telling everyone what a great job you've done.
