How are pages created for the navigation links on 2K11 theme?

Update: I have created a few 'Categories' in the admin section. And in the theme config i have added the link to the relevant Link Tab such as 'index.php?/categories/3-Camping'

This works. Posts I need to add he category and select 'not show in main' in the advanced options.

That sounds about right, you add the url you want to point to in the theme's configuration.
