Hello all,

I am modifiying a provided template.

How to make serendipity take the index.tpl file and *.tpl files instead of layout.php file ?

Both file are provided with my template i wish to modify.

If i remove layout.php, serendipity find it in the default template. If i remove layout.php from the default template, serendipity is not able to work anymore

Thanks in advance

What version are you using?

I was wondering what version of Serendipity you were using. The way Serendipity handles templates is different depending on what version you're using.

Oh SORRY !
my version is :

v.0.7.1

Too bad, this is the only version provided with my internet provider modules ... I need to wait for the upgrade.

Thanks.

0.7.1 is hard to style, you need to upgrade to 0.8 to be flexible and use *.tpl files as documented on www.s9y.org (Documentation > Technical Documentation > Styles).
