quadratische Thumbs? z.b. mit phpThumb()?

Hallo Leute

Ich möchte gerne bei mehreren Templates automatisch quadratische Thumbnails im Beitrag haben. Ich habe schon alles durchsucht, aber soweit hier im Forum keinen Lösungsvorschlag gefunden. Leider hab ich atm überhaupt keinen "Plan" wo ich anfangen soll. Ansätze wären phpThumb() oder generell per PHP? Wie umsetzen in S9Y?

Verständnisfrage: Du willst, dass wenn ein bestimmtes Template gewählt ist und dann ein Beitrag geschrieben wird, in diesem Beitrag automatisch bestimmte Thumbnails eingefügt werden?

I´m sorry for that english is absolutely ok for me.
Back to the topic: when I make an entry and upload a image, then it would be nice to have automatic a square thumbnail, like in many thumbnail sites of modern gallerys. I would like to be able to automatically create a cropped from center, resized, square thumbnail. Thumbnail - 200px x 200px, full image -normal size.
Same thumbnail sizes for all entries.

s9y can resize, but it cannot arbitrarily crop the thumbnail. Beginning with s9y 1.4, you can specify a maximum dimension, AND specify whether this is maximum value is applied to the width, height, or whichever of those values is largest.

If the thumbnail is to be square, the original image must also be square.... unless someone is willing/able to change the thumbnail creation functionality.
