Post by albatroz »

I upgraded recently my Serendipity installation to version 1.1
and now the Multilingual plugin does not work.

I don't have a solution, sorry. But it would be probably much easier to find one if you could narrow down 'doesn't work' a little. Does it do anything at all? Can you get to its configuration? Etc. pp.

Well after some work I got it working (partially at least).
Initially I was getting some error messages, aparently related to SQL.
(I am using MySQL). Then I uninstalled, and reinstalled the plugin, twice.

Now you can read some posts that were created in two languages.
But the language switch menu, appears emptly. Look on the left column of my blog at the bottom position.

I think you have to configure the sidebar plugin first, which means to explicitly select the languages you're goint to use and visitors should be able to select from.
