Expanding the del.icio.us -plugin...

Hi. Been a while. ;)
I'm currently enjoying the del.icio.us plugin, and as always I can't leave stuff alone.

What I'd like to achieve is this:
Would it be possible to make the "more" link at the bottom of the del.icio.us list of links lead to a static page that would display all of your del.icio.us links instead of having it go offsite to the del.icio.us page?

So that clicking the more-link would keep people in my blog but change the entires for a perheps two-columned page of all my links...

Any ideas on this? Come on, I know it's gotta be possible. :)

I don't really know the delicious api, but if there is a way to fetch all your links and display them, it wouldn't be hard.

Maybe some volunteer pops up? :)

Garvin

Well, I know that when you click the "more" link that's already in the plugin it sends you to a page with all your links. Mine looks like this: http://del.icio.us/hastalasiestablog

If someone wants a take on this, that'd be very sweet. :)

It would be that hard persay... all that the plug-in does is pull the rss feed... they also have an export all rss feed option... it just requires your password... or it did last time I checked... and thats the ideal way to back up your del.icio.us account

I suppose the best way to do it would pull your full account feed once a day then cache it... then build a dynamic entry off it....

del.icio.us has a REST API (its like soap/xml-rpc but less suck) that would let you do an initial import of your del.icio.us links, and then periodic updates to save on bandwidth.

It seems pretty simple to use as well.
