Entry Paging (prev/next) error/bug?

Post by RobA » Mon Jul 11, 2005 4:34 pm

I backdated a blog entry, which seems to have broken the Entry Paging plugin (prev/next links in the header).

See http://ffaat.pointclark.net

The posts, from newest to oldest are:
July 6 7:06 Bang-On! (Entry 29)
July 4 21:00 Brickshelf Galleries for RTLToronto (Entry 28)
July 1 12:00 Happy Canada Day! (Entry 30)
June27 15:57 Hot (Entry 27)

Clicking on the first one http://ffaat.pointclark.net/blog/archives/29-Bang-On!.html and following the links backward takes me through the order:
29 - 30 - 27... (skips entry 28)
aand from there going forward gets:
27 - 28 - 29 ... (skips entry 30)

Which version of the plugin are you using?

Did you configure a Server Time Zone Offset?

From the file:
serendipity_event_entrypaging.php,v 1.9 2005/05/22

Server time offset in the configuration page is set at 0. The indicated time agrees with my local time.

Thanks - that fixed it. :D

BTW - I noticed that for some plugins (like the static page plugin), when using SPARTICUS, show up as a red icon, and state an upgrade is available.

Is this something that all plugins do using SPARTICUS?

Thanks,

Yes, that'S right - it's a Spartacus feature that checks every 24 hours if a new er plugin exists in the remote repository than the one you have installed.

Are there plans to extend SPARTICUS to allow it to point to custom repositories?

Kind of like having multiple apr-get repositories configured?

The latest 0.9 spartacus has support to select certain mirrors for the XML/File repositories.

To adapt it for custom repositories would thus be possible with some minor modifications.

But since we currently have no way of validating plugin repositories and sources, we cannot yet bundle this by default. First we have to find means of approving sources...
