Someone asked, details are here:http://ffaat.pointclark.net/blog/archives/22-Glossary-Reloaded.html
This plugin takes a set of definitions/glossary words and displays them when a user hovers over:
Currently it is set up on my site with the following search terms/definitions:
Code: Select all
regexp : A regexp is a Unix Regular Expression; ie a string for pattern matching.
html : HyperText Markup Language.
plugin: A plugin is a program written by someone that is integrated into another application.
alphanumeric : Consisting of letters and/or numbers, but not other symbols or punctuation marks.
This does slow down my blog rendering, but I have turned it back on by request (for awhile at least). I haven't tested it with the simple cache plugin, but that may speed it up by not having to do all the regexp matching.
This was done for fun, so hopefully someong else will get some use out of it.
