I've tried a completly new installation of this plugin, but its broken:
Installer Error[1]: Extracting the zip to /www/htdocs/blog/plugins/serendipity_event_ckeditor directory failed!
Please extract ckeditor_4.1.2_standard-plus.zip by hand.
The plugin installs a ckeditor_4.1.3_standard-plus.zip in /blog/plugins/serendipity_event_ckeditor, but it has only 412 bytes. The file contains following:

Sorry, i've seen in your older entries, that github.com is best for spartacus ... my default was netmirror ...
now, it works

Fine you have that solved!
Well, I once had issues with netmirror, so I wrote this. But usually all mirrors should work!
I'll see what is wrong with netmirror. But since our Plugin/Template sync is down for maintenance ATM, this will take until next week or so. I also have a pending 1.3.1 on Github, which waits for the sync too.

Thats bad! It looks like the netmirorr one did not get the latest update to 1.3, but the sync tells to search for the new update. So that was the issue of that error.

We will get this into line again next week, hopefully.

okay ... but how can i access the media library? I see no extra button ... I see only the images folder within the media library ...

Oh sorry, I misunderstood your question.
I newly added the (iframed) 'media insert' button/plugin. Read ChangeLog.
Media Library was added prior! Have a look at the 4th last button, 2cd row.
I like it that all internal ckeditor plugins are grey dimmed and the Serendipity hooked-in are coloured buttons!

Please check the [?] button. Which version?
Did you force a hard browser reload?
If that does not help, uninstall via plugin list and install right again.

i've installed this plugin completly new ... and I've deleted the plugin directory by hand per FTP.
CKEditor Version is: 4.1.3 (revision 1baa4c5)

So, i have removed the plugin completly by hand and reinstalled by Spartacus. In Editor-View i forced the Browser with SHIFT-F5 to reload the Editor. Nothing changes ... no extra buttons.

Hm, very strange.
Where is ckeditor located in your plugin list?
Is this a special Serendipity like embedded or something?
I still think you do not really get all files as are...
This is mine
(including a code snippet (beta), amazonlink plugin, linktrimmer plugin, media library, iframed media)

I paste the 1.3.1 version here for some days, without the including zip, which is the same as in 1.3.0. Just drop and inflate that into your ckeditor event directory and access the plugins config.

Strange ... I have uploaded your archive, but that changes nothing. CKEditor is at the end of the list.
In Version 1.2.2 CKEditor, i did not seen the button either ...
