Static page plugin - can't update content

I've been using the static page plugin and loving it.
Well until I tried to make a change to the content on the static page.
The only way to make changes is to delete the page the start again. Is it just me or is there something wrong here?

Works well for me. Which version of the plugin are you using?
How exactly are you updating your content, please describe the steps you make and the links/buttons you click.

I'm using version 3.0.
When I go to edit a static page:
Click "Static Pages" link in Admin side bar
Select the page name from the dropdown
Click "Go"
Make some changes
Click "Save"
I get the "Done: The new settings have been saved at 21:24:35" Message
Reload the static page and the changes don't show up.
I have to delet the old page and re-create it to make a change.

But there is no version 3.0. Only 2.0.
Anyways, the way you outline should work. It does work for me. Which PHP version are you using?
Can you use phpMyAdmin or sth like that and see if your serendipity_staticpages table contains your staticpage with the changes, or if the Table is not updated?
If that doesn't help us further, I can only offer to look at your installation if you give me a FTP+Serendipity account on your machine. Most probably the updateStaticPage() method of the plugin fails on your system...though I can't see why.

is what it says in the code
And that is the one I just got from CVS
Though CVS lists it as 1.17

What I mean is the plugin version, which has nothing to do with the CVS version string. You can see the plugin version in your Plugin Configuration panel.

Took a look at the DB with phpPgAdmin, it seems the pages are created but not updated.
Can't tell much more than that.
Have created an account for you, I'll pm you the login details.

When I try to update per net I got this:
Could someone tell me, what´s the problem. Its no problem to install other plugins by net.

Updating the static page plugin to version 2.0 seems to have worked.

As I tried to install another plugin i got the same error in "plugins.inc.php".
