user self registration plugin not showing up

So this plugin seemed to get installed ok but it's not appearing in the menu.

What exactly are you referring to by "in the menu"?

If you mean: in the sidebar of your blog – are you still logged in? In that case, it might be suppressed in the frontend. Doesn't make much sense to show it to users already registered. :)

The plugin has an option for whether to show itself in the sidebar or not.
