Hi there,
I just tried to use the S9Y xmlrpc-plugin with my iPad because I can't edit articles with the Pad itself. Unfortunately I do have problems setting up Blogsy to use xmlrpc so I can't blog using the iPad which I really would.
I entered the following URL in Blogsy: http//myblog.com/serendipity_xmlprc.php and receive either a 404 or a 403 error.
Does anyone have an idea what is wrong?
Thanks for your advice!
Thomas

Hi!
Did you try to enter the URL in a browser, and see what result you get? You should not get a 404 or 403, the file needs to exist (it comes with s9y and communicates with the plugin).
Sadly I don't have an ipad and haven't heard of blogsy yet...but s9y is known to work properly with most RPC API Clients that support MT Api or Blogger API.
Regards,
Garvin

Re: iPad use of S9Y (with Blogsy)
Hi Garvin,
thanks for your fast response. When entering the URL http://blog/serendipity_xmlrpc.php I receive the following message:
faultCode 105 faultString XML error: Invalid document end at line 1
So the plugin seems to work. I had contact with the Blogsy developers and they confirmed that Blogsy only works with Wordpress or blogger.com. At least right now, maybe Full XMLRPC-support will be added in a later release.
