How to install ADDTHIS button at every post ?

Post by sylistic »

I am clueless about how to add the "shareThis" or "AddThis" button on every widget of my website post. I am unable to locate the control panel of my sy9(Serendipity Administration Suite) as on http://sylistic.com/test/blogweb/index.php .

Where can i edit my post signature?

Please reply asap!

Thanks!

Hi!

If you search this forum for "addthis" you can find multiple threads that deal with it, on how to either add it, or how to enable it when you use the default "bulletproof" serendipity template.

You can edit post signatures and details inside the "entries.tpl" template file of your selected template, which is in the /templates/XXX/ directory.

You seem to be using a pre-installed version of Serendipity that has been customized by another service provider. We cannot give support for things that are affected by thos customizeations, like access to the admin panel. I think you can login using the login box on the left hand site on your webpage.

I use the ADDTHIS plugin built into the bulletproof template and it's great! however I was hoping to update the look to the most recent ADDTHIS button. Also, I want to customize so that it's just Twitter and Facebook, and appears at the top of the post rather than the bottom. Before I attempt to modify my "entries.tpl" template file, thought I'd ask whether there another version of the ADDTHIS plugin in the works ...?

Thanks!
