I installed the Picture of the author plugin yesterday and it worked fine for a while but then started showing the author's images in double. I removed the plugin, and then single images were present in the articles. Reinstall the plugin and I get double images again.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here, I'd sure appreciate any suggestions.

It seems as if you've installed the etnryproperties plugin with entry caching?
Can you try to rebuild your cache (admin menu) and see if it then works? Are you sure you may not possibly have 2 authorpic plugins?
Please tell me the version of your authorpic plugin, the best thing would be its CVS ID at the top of the file.

Indeed I do have the entry properties plugin installed and caching is on. Only one (none now) authorpic plugin was installed. cvs header is: serendipity_event_authorpic.php,v 1.5 2005/03/13 13:12:43 garvinhic

After rebuilding the cache the "ghost" verison of the pics disappeared and reinstalling the plugin shows just one pic now.
The only thing I can think of that may have led to this is I changed the extension from jpg to png and after that I had the problems. Thanks for the help.
