cache plugin and sidebar changes

The "Simple Cached/Pregenerated Pages"-plugin has problems with sidebar-changes.
If I change some sidebar-plugins, e.g. the code in an html-nugget, it doesn't change my blog as long as I don't modify an entry. Seems to me that the cache-plugin isn't notified of sidebar-changes.

Yeah, that's right.

There are many other changes that are not immediately reflected (adding categories, adding authors) and so on. You'll have to live with that, but since the caching is usually only short-term, you should be able to live with that fact?
