Where has it been deleted? On disk and/or in the relevant database tables?

I'm not at all sure which tables are "relevant", but you could look for "serendipity_event_userprofiles" in serendipity_plugincategories, in serendipity_pluginlist and in serendipity_plugins. It should be safe to delete all entries referring to that deleted plugin.

Thanks for the tip, sounds like it. I`ll clear the entry from the database tables.

I deleted the plug-in through the backend, which worked, but`ll have a look whether the folder has been removed from the server as well.
