<br> add Media

Post by ivanflo »

Hello,
this is my first entrey, just bear with me.

When I put tekst into the 2 blocks, I have to put <br> after every line.
Same with <p></p> of any other html commando.

and also, I cannot add any sound/music nor video.

What do I wrong?

sincerely

This is hard to diagnose without being able to look over your shoulder. Let's try to find out a few things first.
  • I assume you are using a current s9y version? (2.0.5)
  • Do you use the WYSIWYG editor? (If not, your two input fields should just be two textareas with very few buttons. I assume that's what you do since you seem to write HTML markup.)
  • Can you give us a list of the event plugins that you have installed, please?
  • What happens/goes wrong if you don't put a <br> after every line?
  • “Same with <p></p> of any other html commando.” I don't understand what you mean by that.
  • “I cannot add any sound/music nor video.” I assume that this is going to be a bit more complicated, so we should maybe try to clear that up later on.

Thank you for you quick answer.

Indeed

Do you use the WYSIWYG editor? (If not, your two input fields should just be two textareas with very few buttons. I assume that's what you do since you seem to write HTML markup.)
I cannot choose for an other than a very minimal editor.

Can you give us a list of the event plugins that you have installed, please?
None, nether on both side bars.

What happens/goes wrong if you don't put a <br> after every line?
Supose that I have a normal text notepad++; and copy/pase into the blog, one line.

“Same with <p></p> of any other html commando.” I don't understand what you mean by that.
I use notepad++ as editor, the with find I replace the the line return to <br>
Other markings, line, <hr>, etc.

“I cannot add any sound/music nor video.” I assume that this is going to be a bit more complicated, so we should maybe try to clear that up later on.
Well, don't pusched, I can work, even with detour.

Addin a comment, in the bar uside a txt aera, there are just
I, B, citaat(quote) Media, URL.

To me, who i'm I, I think thet TINYWYGIWYS.
