weather plugin fails

Post by Noelb »

This failed about month ago, disabled it, forgot all about it until now when upgrading to 2.0.4, tried again, still broken...
Error: Services_Weather (Metar.php:360): Server data wrong or not available.Error: Services_Weather (Metar.php:360): Server data wrong or not available.

This applies for all the ICAO codes from various parts of world that I tried, so not a direct serendipity fault, but suspect their format has changed, pear module services_weather is current - however I think maybe this plugin may be soon obsolete since the pear module is no longer maintained.. but what would I know :) maybe there's an easy fix...

So that would be a case of a plugin that we better “retire” …?
